Ministries
Here are four guiding principles based on Colossians 1:9-10 that serves as a guide for all of our ministries here at ECBC:
Equipping with the truth of God's Word,
Connecting truth with life,
Becoming fruitful workers, and
Continuing to grow in Christ-likeness.
We are only able to carry out God's work in God's way through the power of God's Spirit and through obedience to God's Word. Understanding, application of truth, and fruitful work come as we yield to the Holy Spirit. It is our desire here at Edwards Corners Bible Church to emulate Christ in all we do that the body might be edified and that Christ might be glorified. The following are the ministries we offer to help us as a body accomplish this goal.
Nursery/Toddlers
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”
(Matthew 19:14).
We would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to our Nursery Program! We are pleased to provide a beautiful nursery facility plus a safe and caring environment as we watch over your precious little ones. We gladly accept newborns and children up to three years of age. Our Nursery includes a private area for nursing mothers and sleeping space. Our toddler nursery offers a bathroom and a large play area. Feel free to take advantage of our facilities or leave your child in our care. There are always 2 or 4 nursery workers in the toddler nursery during our Worship Service and 1 or 2 nursery worker during our Sunday School hour. You are welcome to check in on them at any time.
Children's Ministries
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6)

We believe that the training up of children is ultimately the responsibility of the parents and that the primary setting for spiritual training is the home (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). However, we also believe that as a church it is our responsibility to come alongside the parents and provide resources and additional teaching to reinforce what is being taught in the home. Here at ECBC, we provide two opportunities for children to grow in their understanding and relationship with Jesus. There is our Sunday evening Kids Club which meets during the evening service and there is our Wednesday night Kids 4 Truth program which meets from 7-8 pm. Both provide your children with a safe and fun atmosphere in which they can discover who God is and learn many valuable principles that will help them develop a personal and lasting walk with the Lord.
Youth/Teen Ministry
"Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12)

Are you a teen in 6-12th grade who is looking for some answers and a group of teens to have fun with? Come join us at the Rooted in Christ Student Ministry. We meet on Sunday Evenings from 5:00-6:30 pm. Dress casual, bring your Bible and a friend, and join us for games, refreshments, a time of worship, Bible study, and learning together about God's plan for your life.
Young Adult/Singles Ministry
"But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: that the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, mot given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Young men likewise exhort to be sober-minded" (Titus 2:1-6)
We have been blessed with growth in our young adult age group and look forward to the fellowship and fun as we do life together. Whether you are single or married, have children or not, in college, or just looking for a place to find fellowship and church involvement, then we are looking for you! There are cookouts, home Bible studies, activities, opportunities to teach, to help, to share, and most of all to grow together in this ECBC church community.
Men's and Women's Ministry
"In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you" (Titus 2:7-8)
Here at Edwards Corners Bible Church, we provide an opportunity for fellowship and outreach ministries in our community and church. Some of the combined opportunities would be our support for the Pregnancy Helpline of Three Rivers, the Marcellus schools backpack ministry, our Annual Sunday School Picnic, fellowship care group meetings, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, the Schoolcraft 4th of July parade, Centreville Jail Ministry, and regular Visitation and outreach. The men enjoy a weekly "Word of the Day" breakfast as well as regular Bible study opportunities. The ladies also enjoy a weekly breakfast as well as regular Bible studies. The list continues to grow as we seek to follow the Lord wherever He may lead us.
